Admin Panel — How To Guide

This module is restricted to Kubariho Venture (PM) and Nelson Tugume (CEO) only.

Tab 1 — Users

  1. View all ERP system users in the table.
  2. Click "+ Add User" to create a new account.
  3. Fill in name, email, role, department, and set a plain-text password for the user to change on first login.
  4. Click the pencil icon to edit a user's details.
  5. Toggle the status button to deactivate or reactivate a user.
  6. KPI cards update automatically from the user list.

Tab 2 — Data Management

  1. Select a module from the dropdown to inspect its data.
  2. "View Records" shows raw JSON in a scrollable block.
  3. "Edit as JSON" opens a textarea — paste corrected JSON and save.
  4. "Reset to Seed" restores the factory default data for that module.
  5. "Clear Module Data" deletes all records — type DELETE to confirm.
  6. The usage summary shows record counts for all IACP localStorage keys.

Tab 3 — Import / Export

  1. Select a module and click "Export Selected" to download its JSON.
  2. "Export All" bundles every IACP key into one JSON file.
  3. "Export Staff List → CSV" produces a spreadsheet-ready staff file.
  4. To import: select the target module, upload a valid JSON file.
  5. A preview shows the record count before committing.
  6. Click "Confirm Import" to overwrite the module's localStorage data.

Tab 4 — Audit Log

  1. All admin actions are logged automatically.
  2. Filter by user, module, action type, or date range.
  3. Click "Print Report" to generate a printable audit trail.

Tab 5 — System Settings

  1. View all current ERP system settings in the table.
  2. Click "Edit" on any row to modify that setting inline.
  3. Click "Save All Settings" to persist all changes to localStorage.
  4. Settings include currency, tax rates, fiscal year, version, and contact.
