How to Use — Production

A guide to using this module effectively. Click any section to expand.

Production Oversight Officer: Kubariho Venture (Project Manager) — kubariho@africacoffeepark.com
Production Lines
  1. Go to Production Lines to see all active lines (roasting, drip pack, capsule, etc.).
  2. Click on a line to update its current product, shift, operator, and status.
  3. Record today's output and efficiency percentage for each line at the end of each shift.
Tip: Status should be updated in real time — Idle, Running, Maintenance, or Offline.
Production Runs & Batches
  1. Go to Production Runs to create a new batch — fill: product, quantity, line, start date, target end date, and operator.
  2. Update progress % as the batch moves through processing stages.
  3. Mark batch as Completed once QC has signed off.
  4. Each batch gets a unique Batch ID for full traceability to export documentation.
Tip: Each completed batch must be handed to Quality Control for inspection before it can be packed or dispatched.
📅Shift Handover
  1. At the end of each shift, go to Shift Handover and fill in outgoing supervisor, incoming supervisor, and summary of work completed.
  2. Log any outstanding issues or equipment faults for the incoming shift.
  3. Confirm quantities produced and material consumed during the shift.
Tip: Shift handovers must be completed within 15 minutes of the shift end — this is an audit requirement.
🌿Recipes & Export Prep
  1. Go to Recipes & BOM to view the Bill of Materials for each product SKU.
  2. Each recipe lists the raw materials, quantities, and processing parameters.
  3. When preparing an export batch, ensure the recipe version matches the export specification sheet.
Tip: Recipe changes require sign-off from Quality Control and the Project Manager before production begins.
